Upcycled Treasures – caring for vintage jewelry is easy with a few common items. Before wearing any jewlery (vintage OR new), It’s a good idea to use hydrogen peroxide on a cotton ball or Kleenex to wipe down all surfaces of the item. When not in use, store piece in a small plastic bag away from dust, sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Curated Collections - Features 18k gold-filled, gold plated and 925 sterling silver chains. Silver will tarnish with prolonged exposure to oxygen. The charms are silver and gold plated and will develop a patina over time, especially if they are in contact with sunscreen, perfumes and body lotion. When not in use, store jewelry in a plastic bag away from dust, sunlight and extreme temperatures. Polish gently with a soft polishing cloth.
Beaded Collection - Gemstones can be easily cleaned with a soft dry cloth. It's always a good idea to give them a wipe down when you take them off at the end of the day. When not in use, store jewelry in a small plastic bag away from dust, sunlight and extreme temperatures. None of our beaded jewelry is designed to be waterproof. Though most gemstones are fine to come into contact with water, it is best to remove them before bathing or swimming - contact with soaps, chlorine or salt water can degrade the elastic or thread used in the designs. A simple polishing cloth can be used to gently clean your beaded jewelry. The brass, silver, gold and/or copper spacer beads used in our designs can develop a patina over time due to their exposure to oil on the skin, perfumes, sunscreen and oxygen.
Avoid harsh pulling/stretching on elastic bracelets, as it will weaken the thread or cording and may damage the item over time.
